Post-Op Timeline
Days 1-3
It is important to plan for several weeks of rest and time off work following your facelift surgery. We recommend coordinating with a friend or family member to assist you in the first few days of your recovery. Post-operative pain can vary from mild to moderate, but we will help you manage discomfort with medication.
Weeks 2-3
The most common side effects are swelling and bruising, but these should subside significantly in the second week. Many patients return to work and resume light activity 10 to 14 days after the procedure with Dr. Baker's approval.
1 Month Onward
Some residual swelling is normal for several months after the procedure. You can expect to settle into the final results after about a year.
Long-Term Maintenance
